KODAKARAJIMAIn the fall of 2023, I visited Pulau Samulun, an island that is not well known even among Singaporeans, for a news report. It can be accessed by the same public bus used by commuters.

SUWANOSEJIMAThere is a bus from Boon Lay Station.
There are only factories and businesses around Pulau Samulun.
Pulau Samulun(サムルン島)location
・No toilets, parks, or shops
・There was a building that looked like a dormitory.
・It is classified as an inhabited island because it has permanent residents, but it is close to Jurong Island and should be uninhabited for military security reasons.
・In Singapore, there were also islands in this area where people used to live, and there were schools at that time. Two Malay graves still remain today.
