MAHARAJIMA Character [Inhabited island in Kagoshima]
Umashima Island is located in the Hibiki-nada Islands in Fukuoka. Its residents have formed a master-disciple relationship with Tokara Kuchinoshima. After visiting Ma Island, the cat robot joins the Tokara members.

Ira
The author Ira’s relatives are Singaporean, Malaysian (both Chinese), and Japanese. There are not as many documents about Malaysia’s inhabited islands as there are about Japan, and the majority of residents are Muslim. They speak Malay. Due to the significant language barrier and difficulty in understanding text-based information, the protagonists from Malaysia, the Philippines, and Indonesia are not depicted in order to avoid the risk of misrepresentation. Even if they do appear, it is only in short stories.
Ira(アイラ): World record holder for exploring over 500 islands in just about 3 years.
