This refers primarily to records of the Japanese military forces stationed on Rasa Island (now Kita-Daito Island) in the Daito Islands of Okinawa Prefecture from April to August 1945.
These records serve as historical documents illustrating the island’s defense posture and living conditions during the final stages of World War II.

As of the publication of this article, access to the National Diet Library from overseas has been blocked.
You may be able to access it using a Japanese VPN (I haven’t tried it myself).
